किआ मोटर्स जो कि दक्षिण कोरिया की बहुराष्ट्रीय ऑटोमोबाइल कंपनी है। भारत में अपनी लेटेस्ट इलेक्ट्रिक कार किआ ईवी6 को लॉन्च करने वाली है। ये कंपनी इस कार को ग्लोबल मार्किट में भी लॉन्च करेगी। कोरिया (Korea) में बुकिंग के दौरान कंपनी को बहुत ही अच्छा रिस्पॉन्स मिला है।

2 जून को किआ मोटर्स भारत में ईवी 6 को लॉन्च करेगी।

कंपनी के निर्माता का कहना है कि 25,000 से भी अधिक आर्डर ईवी 6 के लिए कंपनी को प्राप्त हो चुके है। इलेक्ट्रिक गाड़ियों के लिए उन्नत किए गए इलेक्ट्रिक- ग्लोबल मॉड्यूल प्लेटफॉर्म (E-GMP) में इस इस कार का निर्माण किया गया है।

किआ की इस कार (ईवी 6) में 2 ट्रिम्स उपलब्ध है पहली ट्रिम ईवी 6 (GT Line) है और दूसरी ट्रिम ईवी 6 (GT Line AWD) है। इन दोनों ट्रिम्स के फीचर्स में थोड़ा बहुत ही फर्क है। जीटी लाइन एडब्ल्यूडी में कुछ फीचर्स अधिक दिए गए है।

यह कार सिंगल चार्ज में 528 किलोमीटर की लंबी दूरी तय करती है। यदि इस गाडी की चार्जिंग टाइम की बात करें, तो यह कार 350 kW DC अल्ट्राफास्ट चार्जर के द्वारा केवल 18 मिनट में 10 से 80 प्रतिशत तक चार्ज हो जाती है और 50 kW DC फास्ट चार्जर के ज़रिए 73 मिनट के समय में चार्ज हो जाती है।

इस कार प्री बुकिंग 26 मई को शुरू हो गई थी और यह 2 जून को भारत में लॉन्च होगी। यह कार भारत में सीबीयू आयात (पूरी तरह से निर्मित इकाई) के माध्यम से आएगी और इस मॉडल के केवल 100 वाहन भारतीय बाजार में शुरू में बेचे जाएंगे। कंपनी ने किआ ईवी6 की कीमत लगभग 60 लाख रुपये (एक्स-शोरूम) है।
